Some people compare laser hair removal to the sensation of being snapped by a rubber band. While that sounds like it could sting a bit, we use a cooling gel to help prepare the skin for treatment, and the laser has a cooling tip which makes the treatment virtually pain-free!
Some patients feel a sensation similar to a pinprick during the procedure, however, most will feel very little or even nothing at all. Immediately following treatments, the treated area may appear mildly sunburn or irritated. This generally improves within a day or two.
