Tis the Season for Laser Hair Removal

As the weather outside gets colder, and we start covering up more and more of our bodies (with layers!), we may worry less and less about being hair-free. Of course, we all know many people don’t even worry about shaving their legs during the winter months! It’s so easy to fall out of the routine of daily shaving and it is frustrating to have to pick it back up again once the weather starts warming up.

Instead of falling back into old habits, however, why not get started on laser hair removal treatments? Both fall and winter are perfect seasons to start your laser hair removal treatments and get you feeling totally bikini-ready long before the summer hits!

Planning out your laser hair removal journey now as opposed to closer to the summer is a great idea for several reasons! For one, the earlier your plan, the more you can space out your treatments. While laser hair removal treatments are very quick, you may want multiple areas done but don’t want to get the areas treated all at once. The more time you give yourself between the start of your treatments and the bikini season, the more freedom you have with scheduling your treatments!

Additionally, each area is going to need multiple treatments. While you will see reduced hair growth after only one treatment, one treatment is unfortunately not enough. You’ll need several treatments for maximum results. This won’t be a problem, however, if you start your treatments now! Starting your treatments now will ensure that your treatments are done and you’re feeling your best, hair-free, carefree self in time to join your friends for the beach!

Fall and winter are also ideal for laser hair removal treatments because there is less sunlight! One of the precautions we tell our patients is to limit sun exposure for two weeks prior to each treatment, as well as waiting for already sun-tanned skin to fade before starting the process. If the sun is setting early every day, you won’t have to worry about it!
